Reference RX Vertical Antenna – COMPLETED

Accomplice a quiet Saturday and the pleasant temperature I finished setting up the “reference RX vertical” monoband for 160m.

I applied in parallel to the secondary of the 1: 1 output transformer two non-inductive resistors of 200Ohm each in order to obtain the value as close as possible to the 96Ohm suggested by the VNA and not to introduce any further inductive effect on the tuning system.

The Rl (Return-Loss) has improved from -7 to -17dB as well as the SWR even if this value is really unimportant for the use of such an antenna.
